According to Xu Qi Chase, president of Realme China, the highly anticipated Realme GT 5 will soon be available in China. The RAM of the smartphone has been made public amid market rumors, but the maker hasn't yet given a definite launch date. The smartphone is expected to contain up to 24GB of Memory.
A few more features have also been hinted at along with the phone's charging specifications on Weibo. The smartphone may launch as the Realme GT 3's replacement, which made its debut earlier this year, according to media reports.
According to Xu Qi Chase, president of Realme China, the upcoming Realme GT 5 would have up to 24GB of RAM. He also implied that the smartphone would be powered by Qualcomm's top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Processor. Furthermore, confirmed is the 240W fast charging capability of the smartphone.
However, Chase did not specify an exact release date for the Realme GT 5. Some key details concerning the phone have not yet been made public by the company.
Released earlier this year is the Realme GT 5, which could replace the Realme GT 3. This one has a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz and a 6.74-inch 1.5K (1,240x2,772 pixels) AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz.
The display's maximum brightness is stated to be 1,400 nits. The phone is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Processor, which works with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. Realme UI 4.0 is installed on top of Android 13 behind the hood.
The Realme GT 3's triple rear cameras each have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main sensor with an f/1.88 lens that supports optical image stabilization (OIS). A 2-megapixel macro sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera with a 112-degree field of view and an f/3.3 lens are also part of the back camera system. A 16-megapixel selfie camera is built into the gadget.
